About digital music subscription service Napster
Napster - is the premier on-demand legal music service. Napster has extensive content agreements with the five major record labels, as well as hundreds of independents. Napster delivers access to the largest catalog of online music, with more than 1,000,000 tracks spanning all genres from Eminem to Miles Davis

How to record music from Napster
You may use Direct sound recording software to record music from Napster. Replay Music works better than any other program with Napster digital music subscription service. They have implemented special track split detection that works 100% of the time, and the auto tagging works really well, too.

Important: To make track splitting in Replay Music work properly, ensure your Napster player program is NOT using Direct Sound.

If you have trouble recording, you may need to adjust the audio output in Windows Media Player as follows:

    1. Open Windows Media Player.
    2. Select Tools, Options from the menu. (If you don't see a menu, right click on the top of the window.)
    3. Click the Devices tab.
    4. Click Speakers, then click the Properties button.
    5. Make sure the Sound Playback option is set to Default DirectSound Device.
