Downloading RealAudio and Windows Media streams from NPR radio station

NPR uses RealAudio and Windows Media for their audio streams.
Like any other audio stream, NPR program can be recorded using Direct sound recording software.
To avoid problems like buffering, quality loss and to download on demand streams faster it is preferable to use streaming media recorders supporting RealAudio/RealVideo streamed through RTSP protocol or supporting Windows Media streams.
We suggest you to record Windows Media streams rather than RealAudio, because there are more recorders supporting Windows Media and Windows Media recorders are more stable.
