How to record/download RealAudio streams from BBC radio

BBC uses RealAudio streamed through RTSP and PNM protocols for their on demand and live streams.
PNM protocol is rather obsolete and not supported by many newer stream recorders. In the majority of cases
you may change pnm:// onto rtsp:// in a stream URL and record the strean using RTSP protocol.

Like any other audio stream, BBC radio station can be recorded using Direct sound recording software.
