TVU networks TVUplayer is a network for live media streaming, or you can call it a free P2P Streaming Internet TV. In principle it's similar to BitTorrent(BT).
The core operations are very simple: every node periodically exchanges data availability information with a set of partners, and retrieves unavailable data from one or more partners, or supplies available data to partners. It usually takes 15 to 20 minutes before one uploads to other users are at a rate high enough for itself to download segments in a sufficient rate. Therefore it is recommended to establish a connection as early as possible before the starting time of a desired event. The more users sharing segments there are the better stream each one of them will get.
TVU Player is not very stable, so please don't be surprised if it fails to initialize or if the channel you are watching tends to lag. For the above mentioned reasons, if very few people are connected to the same channel most probably you will get poor streaming quality. But if you are watching a popular TV program there should be a good number of peers sharing the load and the transmission will flow. Always remember to check the number of peers before watching a channel.

How to use TVU networks TVUplayer
TVU Player is extremely easy to use.
- Download the TVU networks TVUplayer software and install it.
- Run TVU networks TVUplayer. The list of available channels will appear.
- Double click on the TV channel in the channel list to watch it.
Note: Windows Media Player should launch itself after selecting a channel. Make sure that you have already installed the Windows Media Player.
- Enjoy the program!
Refreshing channel list from time to time allows you to check whether new channels are on offer.

Download Instructions for TVUplayer
- Download the TVUPlayer.zip file to someplace convenient – the Desktop is a good choice.
- Find the TVUPlayer folder and open it. Open the folder whose name starts with "TVUPlayer".
- Double-click on the "Setup.exe". This will start the TVUPlayer Install program.
- In the Install program, choose the default buttons for the easiest install.
