    Capturing/saving/recording video stream from TVAnts

    Overview

    TVAnts uses P2P technology to broadcast TV programs live over the Web. You need HiDownload to record Window Media video stream from TVAnts. You may also try any other streaming media recorder supporting Windows Media format.

    Recording from TVAnts

    1. Download and install TVAnts.
    2. Download and install HiDownload.
    3. Run TVAnts and play the channel that you want to record.
    4. After TVAnts starts playing the video, make a right mouse click on the TVAnts window and select the "Properties" from the menu.
    5. You can find the URL in the "Properties" window. Usually it looks like one of the following URLs: "mmst://localhost:16900/1" or "mmst://localhost:16900/2"
    6. Copy the URL you have found to the clipboard
    7. Run HiDownload and open the "Add" window.
    8. Paste the URL from the clipboard and click the "OK" button.
    9. HiDownload will start to record.
