How to capture non-recordable streams and DRM protected streams
How to record DRM protected streams
Few DRM protected streams can be recorded using streaming media recorders and streaming audio rippers. WM Recorder allows you to record DRM protected Windows Media streams. If you have a valid license for your DRM protected recordings you may use DRM removal software to remove protection. But we strongly recommend not to abuse rental licences!
If you don't have a valid license, DRM removal software won't work.
How to record non-recordable audio/video streams
To avoid quality loss while recording, make sure that the stream you want to record is really non-recordable. Try the latest versions of streaming media recorders. If it is hard for you to choose a stream recording software, you may try streaming media software recommended by the editor or ask a question in the Streaming media recording forum.
To record non-recordable video streams you may use screen capture software. Such programs can capture almost anything you see on your screen and some of them can even record video with sound.
To record non-recordable audio streams you may use direct audio recording software. Such programs can record any sound produced by your sound card.
If you record from internet radio station or digital music subscripton service, you may wanna try a very unique software called Replay Music. Replay Music is the only direct sound recording software that can split songs and tag them automatically.
Hint: Looking for an easy way to convert Youtube to MP3 or download YouTube Videos? Try Freecorder.
