How to record/capture embedded streaming video
As with any other video stream you may record streaming video from an embedded media player following 2 simple steps:
- Find the URL of a media stream
- Record the stream using streaming video recording software
Please note that most newer streaming video recording programs allow you to record embedded online videos automatically. You just need to press the record button and navigate to the web-site you want to record from.
In most cases there are no any problems recording from embedded Adobe Flash Player, Windows Media Player (WMP), embedded RealPlayer (RealOne Player), embedded Nullsoft Video player. You may also easily record HTTP protocol streams from embedded QuickTime Player.
In case of a DRM protected stream, you may try to use DRM Removal software whether after recording the stream or while playing it. Non-recordable video streams can be recorded by Screen video capture software.
